Rhona Mitra
Mitra was the live-action character model for Lara Croft, the lead character in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider video game series prior to when Angelina Jolie took the role in the two Tomb Raider films (2001-2003). Mitra was the No. 46 on Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2000. She was Christopher Lambert's romantic partner in Beowulf. She was Scott Wolf's shady love interest in Party of Five, her first major part. In 2000, Mitra had a small part in the movie Hollow Man as a neighbour who is sexually assaulted by Kevin Bacon's character. She had a main role in the drama about medical treatment Gideon's Crossing, as Alejandra "Ollie" Klein. The characters she performed in Ali G Indahouse and Sweet Home Alabama were then followed by roles on Stuck on You and Highwaymen. Mitra was Tara Wilson in The Practice's final season. She continued to play her role on the spin-off Boston Legal, but was unable to continue that role until the second season. Mitra was Kit McGraw in season 3 of the series Nip/Tuck in 2005. Mitra was then played in Skinwalkers as well as The Number 23 as well as Shooter. Mitra also starred as Major Eden Sinclair in 2008's science action/fantasy movie Doomsday. Mitra, who can be mistakenly identified as Caryn Parkerson in certain databases and made her acting debut in Underworld Rise of the Lycans in 2009. In 2009 she portrayed the role of Sonja her fierce vampire older Viktor. As she was filming, she became attracted to her vampire fangs even refusing to get rid of them when they couldn't be seen. "I put those fangs in the very first day. I thought it was odd to have them in the first place. They were there throughout the filming process along with all of my dialogue. Stargate Universe also included the actress in three episodes.
